5/9/16  Holy Name was proud to welcome nationally known religious liberty speaker Kris Anne Hall (http://krisannehall.com ) to our school on Monday.  She spoke to grades 5-8 on the importance of the constitution and how it gives us our freedoms that make the United States a great republic to live in.  



6th graders have a "states and capitals" test on Thursday, March 24th.  http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/web_games.htm  will help them study!


3/1  6th grade students finished learning about all the countries of South America!  They created a board game to show the unique features the countries offer and then got to play each other's games! 













Geography Bee Update! 
Adam Willette found out today that he has qualified for the state competition on April 1 in Kalamazoo, MI!  Adam is the first student at Holy Name to qualify, congratulations!!!

Congratulations to 6th grader Adam Willette on winning the 2016 Holy Name Geography Bee!  He will be taking a test online soon to see if he qualifies for the state competition and a chance at the $50,000 scholarship prize!




The Geography Bee will take place Friday, January 8th at 2:15 in the multi.  Grades 4-8 will participate.
