Don’t forget to join us in the biggest fundraiser at Holy Name!  Tickets are on sale for $35 in the office.

Each ticket includes a delicious buffet dinner, a drink ticket, and a great night of fellowship with friends and family. There will be games, silent and live auction items, a 50/50 drawing, and plenty of music. We will also draw the winning tickets for the early bird drawing, public raffle, and the winner of the JEEP! Geography Bee Competition

Congratulations to Adam Willette for representing Holy Name at the state Geography Bee Competition.  Adam answered 5 of 8 questions correctly in his group!

"My Michigan Hero" Essay Contest

8th grade students across Michigan participated in an essay contest titled "My Michigan Hero."  The students wrote about their personal Michigan hero, and are eligible for a $1,000 prize and a trip to Lansing!  

Congratulations to the Holy Name winners of: (1st) MaKenna Pepin, (2nd) Lauren Dykema, and (3rd)Thomas Mayville.  MaKenna's 1st place essay now goes downstate to be judged for the state prize.

Honduras Mission Trip

Honduras Mission Trip
Mrs. Rena from the Faith Formation office spent two weeks this summer in Honduras on a mission trip.  She shared her pictures and trip with the 6th grade students who just finished learning about the countries of Central America in Social Studies.    The students also got to see their "sister" school where the money raised during entrepreneur day is donated! 

Science Olympiad

Holy Name's Middle School Science Olympiad team competed at Northern Michigan University on 2/20.  The team of 6th-8th graders took 7th place out of the 12 middle school teams competing.  Great Job Crusaders!
